Our Story

We are a singles ministry based on prayer.
... And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. --Philippians 1:9-11

Midwest Christian Singles Network is a non-denominational Christian Singles ministry. This ministry started from the Lord's vision to one Missouri district leader in the Church of the Nazarene. Over the last 20-30 years, the ministry has gone through a lot of hardship and prayer but continued to see the vision of ministering to all single adults.

God has taught many truths through this ministry.

God loves all single adults across denomination borders, from all church backgrounds.
No matter where your past has taken you, God's plan for you can still be possible.
When you feel alone, remember God knows you better than anyone else, and He made you special.
When our mind starts reminding us of all singleness has taken from us, God can remind us of all He has given us because of our singleness.

This ministry has been built with prayer and fasting for singles. God gave us one of Paul's prayers, which has become our ministry scripture and prayer for singles: Philippians 1:9-11; Almighty God, allow Your love to abound in knowledge and insight to all we meet while encouraging singles everywhere to celebrate God in their life. Help each believer to discern what is pure and blameless and to pass this discernment to others walking in their path. Fill each believer with the fruit of righteousness so others can look to them as a true mentors. Guide each believer to serve God with joy, glory, and praise, and their accountants will radiate God's glory.

Over the past years, serving singles has had many different faces, but the Lord has always been constant and faithful through each season. This ministry has touched many lives during each season through retreats, mission outreaches, parties, friendships, and travels. God has been good to all who give Him a chance.

Our mission as a ministry is to promote singles ministries in our local areas, plan activities and events to cultivate singles fellowship, and most of all, bring life and encouragement to single adults and, at the same time, honor our Lord.

Statement of Faith

We believe in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.

We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.

We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race and that whosoever repents and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.

We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.

We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
